Freaks and Geeks only had one season, but over the years it has attained the status of a cult classic. The show which aired on multiple networks, from 1999 to 2000 (and was later canceled) followed Lindsay Weir (Linda Cardellini), a gifted student who befriends "freaks" of a high school in the 1980s in the suburban town of Chippewa, Michigan. The "freaks" include the familiar faces of Daniel Desario (James Franco), Nick Andopolis (Jason Segel), Ken Miller (Seth Rogen), and Kim Kelly (Busy Philipps). Lindsay's younger brother was also a star on the show which also followed him and his "geeky" friends through their first year of high school.

Now over 20 years after its cancellation, Screen Rant reports that Hulu audiences will be able to catch all 18 episodes of the short-lived series, along with the show's original soundtrack on January 25! This includes artists like Joan Jett, Van Halen, The Who, and Billy Joel. Only 12 episodes of the show were originally aired on NBC, but now you can watch all 18. The A.V. Club reached out to series creator Paul Feig about Freaks And Geeks’ dropping on Hulu, where he shared his excitement, saying,  “I’m so thrilled that Hulu is bringing Freaks And Geeks back to the [airwaves] with the original music.” Feig reiterated, “For me, the thought of our show without all the original music intact is like running the series with several of the characters cut out. The music is as big a part of this show as the writing and the performances. This is the only way to see our show and I can’t thank Hulu enough for putting us back on the air.”

In 2019, the show celebrated its 20th anniversary where Busy Philipps who played Kim Kelly shared a series of eight photos from the show on Instagram. She wrote: Well. This is a big week for me in terms of TV show history, I guess. 20(TWENTY?!) years ago TODAY FREAKS AND GEEKS premiered on NBC. It feels like a million years ago and also two years ago. I've always remained humbled and grateful that this was my first job in Hollywood. And really, I think it's as great today as it was 20 years ago and that really says something, I think. I love Kim Kelly with all my heart and I'm so glad I got to be her for a while and then also forever. Here are some of my favorite pictures."

"Except for this first one, which was a promo shot for NBC, all the pictures were taken by writer/producer @gabesachs who THANK GOD was obsessed even in 1999 with documenting every moment and always had a camera on him."

In the photos, you can spot Philipps, Linda Cardellini, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, Samm Levine, Martin Starr, John Francis Daley, Becky Ann Baker, and Joe Flaherty.
