Had "The Flash" continued to its tenth season, showrunner Eric Wallace had grand plans, including the assembly of the Arrowverse Justice League. Wallace envisioned multiple crossover events, including "The Forever War" storyline and an adaptation of "The Blackest Night," a highly acclaimed Green Lantern and DC story. The tenth season would have seen the Arrowverse Justice League come together to face an alien invasion led by the villain Despero. Sadly, with the Arrowverse concluding alongside Season 9, these plans will remain unfulfilled.
The conclusion of "The Flash" doesn't necessarily mean the end for its characters. There's potential for Gustin's Barry Allen to appear in other DC projects, like the upcoming "Superman & Lois" Season 4.
