‘Fire Force’ Season 3

'Fire Force' (Enen no Shouboutai) is a Japanese anime series based on a manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Atsushi ŌkuboYuki Yase directed the first season of the anime, with a script written by Gakuto Haijima. 'Fire Force' started airing on July 6, 2019, and ended on December 28, 2019, with 24 episodes. Season 2 was directed and written by Tatsuma Minamikawa. It was officially announced in December 2019 and released on July 4, 2020, with the same number of episodes as season 1. After that, it was available to stream on Funimation. The previous seasons managed to get a positive response from the audience and critics, and they have been continuously looking out for the return of season 3. Will there be ‘Fire Force’ Season 3? Here is what we know so far.

When Will The ‘Fire Force’ Season 3 Release?

On May 16th, 2022, the anime's official Twitter account announced the show's renewal for a third season. Then a year later in May 2023, the Japanese Twitter account announced that production on the third season had begun.

However, David Productions has not announced the release date yet. We predict that the third season will premiere in the summer of 2024.

‘Fire Force’ Season 2 premiered on July 4, 2020, and aired until December 12, 2020. It consists of 24 episodes with a running time of 24 minutes.

What Is The Plot For ‘Fire Force’ Season 3?

As of this writing, the plot of ‘Fire Force’ Season 3 remains unknown. We do only have a few hints for the upcoming story. The finale of season 2 concludes on a sad note with the attack on Tokyo. When Company 4’s Captain Hague got murdered, the city’s defenders lost hope. It makes everything easier for the mission of Company 1 when the emperor orders them to join arms with the invaders. On the other hand, Shinra and Arthur Boyle are welcomed to Company 7’s base. There, they undergo intensive training under Captain Shinmon. Shinra uses the exercise to go to another point called “The Press of Death.” Season 3 will probably follow these events as Company 8 gets together with the Tokyo Empire to take on the Evangelist’s powerful forces. Let us see what is going to happen in the third season. Stay tuned!
