Kate Cassidy, who was dating Liam Payne, departed Argentina just two days before he tragically passed away.
The tragic news broke that the One Direction member fell from a hotel balcony while on vacation in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and died at the age of 31.
She went ahead of him and communicated her decision in a video that went viral before he passed away.
“I was so ready to leave. Honestly, love South America but I hate staying in one place for too long. And we were supposed to be there for, like, five days, turned into two weeks,” Kate said in the video she uploaded to TikTok days before Liam passed.
And again, reiterating why she left, she shared, “I was just like, ‘I need to go home.’”
