Feria: The Darkest Light, also known as Feria: La luz más oscura in Spanish, is a fantasy thriller television series that premiered on Netflix on 28 January 2022. The series was created by Agustín Martínez and Carlos Montero. It has eight episodes and is set in 1990s Andalusia, the southernmost autonomous community in Peninsular Spain. It follows the story of two sisters, Eva and Sofía, who must face a new reality with supernatural elements when it’s revealed that their parents participated in a cult ritual ending in death.

Will There Be Season 2 Of Feria: The Darkest Light?
Feria: The Darkest Light was officially canceled by Netflix. The news was revealed by Espinof in May 2022.
In the first season, Eva and Sofía discover their parents’ dark past about having committed a crime with a toll of 23 deaths during a cult ritual. They have now disappeared and Sofia wants to see her mother again. She also disappears after trying to open the doorway to Kingdom, leaving Eva to look for her while having constant hallucinations. We find that the parents had tried to stop the doorway to the Kingdom and were trapped there for stopping it. Sofia ends up opening it only to realize too late that she unleashed the devil.
The series ends in a huge cliffhanger with the future of everyone involved up in the air. This suggests the possibility of a second season but the show was officialy cancelled.
What Will The Plot Of Feria: The Darkest Light Season 2 Be?
At the end of the first season, Sofia is determined to rescue her mother from the gates of the Kingdom. She sees her mother trapped and hopes to be able to get her out. The second season could have picked up where the first season left off. She has essentially sacrificed her whole town to be able to reunite with her mother. With the way the first season ended, there are a lot of unanswered questions that still exist. All this could have been tackled in the second season. The question of whether Sofia will be able to reunite her family is something that remains to be seen. And what will be the cost of this?
Who Will Be Cast In Feria: The Darkest Light Season 2?
The show stars Carla Campra as Sofia, Ana Tomeno as Eva, and Isak Férriz as Guillén, who are all at the center of the plot and would have reprised their roles. We could have also expect Marta Nieto as Elena, Ernest Villegas as Pablo, Salva Reina as Marcos, Carlos Scholz as Raúl, Sauce Ena as Estrella, Carmen Navas as Mar, Jorge Motos as Chisco, and Angela Cremonte as Blanca to join them in the second season.
