A lot of anime series are making a comeback this year and after the show was confirmed for a third season, here is everything you need to know.
2019 is turning out to be a great year for anime as a lot of series are making a comeback. One of the recent announcements that have caught the attention of the fans and have made them really happy is that 'My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU' has been renewed for a third season. The show has also gone into production and we can expect a release date anytime soon. The finale of season 2 ended with a major cliffhanger way back in 2015, hence it has been a pretty tough wait for the fans as they have been waiting to see their favorite Service Club in action. Lucky for them, they won't have to wait for too long.
During the anime expo 2019, the Tokyo Broadcasting system announced that season 3 of 'My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU' will be happening for sure and the show will premiere sometime during 2020. Apart from that, TBS has confirmed that Studio Feel would be returning to produce the series once more. This comes as great news to the fans, primarily because Studio Feel came in to produce the show from the second season and it was met with all positive reviews.
While the 2020 release date might seem like a pretty late one for some fans, especially because the finale of the second season ended with a cliffhanger. But, given the fact that fans didn't even know that a second season was happening, it certainly comes as welcoming news that the fans didn't have any idea that the show was going to be renewed. The series is licensed by Sentai Filmwork and they also license the English dubbed episodes, so it seems like Service Club is here for a pretty long time.
The anime is made up of a series of light novels that are created by Wataru Watari and the illustrations are done by Ponkan8. The manga was adapted as a television series for two seasons and they are currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
Although there are no confirmed information about the third season, here are a few things that we know. The third season will see OreGairu Hachi’s younger sibling attending the entrance exam for the Soubu High School. Because of this, it is going to be pretty difficult for Hachiman to guard his little sister and simultaneously be a part of the School Service Club. It is not yet confirmed if this is going to happen or not, so take this information with a pinch of salt.
Since the third season is still in production, no trailer has been released as of now. But keep an eye out for this space as we will update it as soon as something official is announced.
It was recently announced by the studio that the show has been renewed for a third season, much to the fans' delight. But, it also could be the final season of the show. A definite release date for the show has not been revealed as of now, but the show is expected to be released in late 2019 or early 2020.
