But, Singleton won't be coming back as he passed away after being taken off life support after he suffered from a stroke on April 17. The third season of 'Snowfall' is going to air of FX every Wednesday, July 10th onwards.
The people who are expected to come back for the third season are Damson Idris, Teddy McDonald, Emily Rios, Michael Hyatt, Amin Joseph, Angela Lewis, and Alon Moni.
So far, no concrete details about how the third season is going to go forward have been revealed yet. The finale of the second season was pretty explosive and most likely it will carry into the third season.

The official synopsis of the series reads, "A look at the early days of the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles during the beginning of the 1980s." The loss of John Singelton was a huge blow to everyone who was a part of the series. Trevor Engelson, the executive producer of the series explains while talking to Deadline, "Everybody is sad, but everybody also is moving forward because that’s what John would’ve wanted." He adds, "It felt like the actors were hearing what John would’ve said, ‘Use that real-life emotion in your performance.'”
