'Elite' Season 2: Netflix Release Date And Renewal Status

Netflix has renewed 'Elite'. the Spanish thriller crime web television series that premiered on October 5, 2018, for the first season. The thrilling show is created and written by Carlos Montero and Dario Madrona. The show is directed by Ramón Salazar and Dami de la Orden and the soundtrack of the series is composed by Lucas Vidal. The show's executive producers are Carlos Montero, Diego Betancor, DaríoMadron as well as Iñaki Juaristi and produced by Francisco Ramos.



 

The series is shot in Sierra de Guadarrama, Madrid by Zeta Producciones. The engrossing story revolves around three working-class teenage kids who get recruited by a well-known private school in Spain. The working-class students get into conflicts with the rich students leading to a murder within the school. Fans now want to know when will the second season come of 'Elite', and here is everything we know about the renewal. 

When Will The Second Season Of 'Elite' Premiere? 



 

The fact that the first season of 'Elite' did perform well with the numbers and viewerships, Netflix has renewed the show for the second season. Even though the exact date is still not declared, we can expect the show to return for the second season sometime in September 2019. However, Netflix did reveal that the new season will be of eight episodes.

The second season will start from where the previous season left fans with major cliffhangers. The second part will continue the plot from where Nano is suspected of being Marina's murderer despite the real killer being someone else. In season 2, fans will also see Samuel trying to save his brother. As far as the production is concerned, it is currently in production. For those who already watched the first season would know that the show deals with issues like racism and discrimination, as well as true struggles with sexuality, drug abuse, classism, and HIV. The show also does not hold behind in showing some graphic nude content concerning sex scenes. Those who haven't watched it yet should binge on it before September comes in.      

Who All Will Return For The Second Season?



 

The cast which returns for the second season is Miguel Bernardeau, who plays the role of Guzmán, a wealthy jerk with a soft side and Danna Paola, who plays the role of Lucrecia who is the meanest of the mean girls. Apart from these two, looking at the recent group picture shared on Instagram, we can expect other cast members to return too,  including Itzan Escamilla as Sam, Mina El Hammani as Nadia, Omar Ayuso as Omar, Arón Piper as Ander, Miguel Herrán as Christian, and Jaime Lorente as Nano.
