Dwayne Johnson Teases Fans By Sharing New BTS Picture From 'Jumanji 3' Sets

The actor has been teasing his fans and keeping them updated about the film by sharing pictures on his Instagram account.

Among all the new exciting films that are coming up, Rock fans are super excited as he will soon be appearing on screen in the untitled 'Jumanji: Welcome To the Jungle' sequel. The actor is teasing his fans and keeping them updated about the film by sharing pictures on his Instagram account. The actor recently shared the picture from the sets that celebrate another successful week of production as reported by ComicBook.

The actor captioned the picture as, " Finished strong130am. On set. JUMANJI. Wrapped another very productive (and fun) week of filming. Hat tip of gratitude and love to my hardworking and brilliant film crew who makes all the magic happen behind the curtains. Come Monday mornin’, we’ll punch that clock and continue down our Jumanji Universe road. Over and out ~ The Smoldering Dr. Bravestone.”

The actor is said to be stepping into the role of Dr. Bravestone. In that last film, he was taken over by Alex Wolff’s character. Apart from Dwayne Johnson, the film also stars Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, and Nick Jonas. The upcoming sequel has some exciting new actors who will be appearing in the film, including Awkwafina.

It was also announced that Danny DeVito who previously appeared in 'Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia' and 'Batman Returns' was going to be a part in the film. Danny Glover the actor known for his role as Roger Murtaugh in the 'Lethal Weapon' films, is also a part of the film.

In conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Dwayne Johnson said, "From Awkwafina to Danny DeVito to now one of my action heroes, Danny Glover — its been awesome having so many actors and OG legends raise their hands wanting to come and play in our Jumanji universe, 'Who turns into who?' will always be the fun magic sauce for our audience."

Earlier this week, it was announced that the 'Once Upon A Time' star Dania Ramirez is also being cast in the film. The upcoming action-adventure film is being directed by Jake Kasdan. Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg have written the film, who also wrote the previous one. The film is scheduled to release on December 13, 2019.

Earlier, Johnson had shared another picture of himself with De Vito and Kevin Hart as the three of them sat together to prepare for their roles. Johnson revealed the actor's nicknames and Kevin Hart's was the most hilarious.

"Dear audience, Oh the fun you are going to have this CHRISTMAS when you watch our new JUMANJI. Love you all, DJ aka Dwanta Claus. DeVito aka Everyone’s favorite grandpa. Hart aka My chocolate biscuit shit son,' he said.

'Jumanji' came out in 1995 and was directed by Joe Johnson. The film's plot revolved around two children who come across a magical board game. When they play the game, they meet a man named Alan who is trapped into the jungle world of the game and needs their help to get out. The two kids go through all kinds of dangers to set him free.

The sequel of the film came out in 2017 and was directed by Jake Kasdan. In this film, the magical board game is shown as a new gen video game where four kids are trapped in the jungle of 'Jumanji' as their avatars and in order to return to their real world, they must complete the game as a team.

The film was one of 2017's biggest hits and is ranked fifth highest grossing film of the year at the worldwide box office, as reported by Cinema Blend.  In an earlier interview with Screen Rant, Jack Black had spoken about how the next Jumanji adventure can explore the origin of the game and reveal who is actually controlling it.

Dwayne Johnson added on to say about how the game has evolved over the years from being a classic old board game to an advanced video game.

"That was a cool thing when we were putting this thing together, developing the script, and we all felt like - first of all, the device - if it evolves from a board game then to a video game, then in the future it could be... who knows what it could be, right? So it's kind of like limitless where the entry can be. And also the device of us being teenagers too. We knew it was going to be fun because then I think it opens up the world and you think "well, who are the other actors you want to play with?" he said.

The fans are super excited about the film to come out after the success of its second sequel. Just like the actors of the film, the fans are curious to know about the mysterious game and how it came into existence. Hopefully, the upcoming film will answer all these questions.
