In 2015 Goku Vegeta and the other fighters returned to the small screen with Dragon Ball Super. The sequel to Dragon Ball Z follows life on this planet after Majin Buu. Over the course of the five installments and now the two anime films, Dragon Ball Super has delivered more of what creator Akira Toriyama is known for. Well, we don't have an official release date as of now because we are still awaiting confirmation from their side. Having said that, animators have hinted in an interview about the future of the saga. In an interview for the official Dragon Ball website, Florence Jay Dominguito, who’s part of the crew at Toei Animation Philippines, talked about the future of Super. “As a fan, I’m really looking forward to new movies and merchandise,” they said. “I’m also excited about the new anime that will continue Dragon Ball Super.” They could have not meant it the way we are taking it, but it sure feels like something is cooking!
We don't have enough information on the plot to talk about it confidently, but we have a feeling that Gohan's daughter Pan will be one of the main characters. Looks like we will have to wait to find out what happens to our favorite characters.
