Dragon Age: Absolution is a new video game adaption by Netflix. It takes place in the world of Dragon Age and follows a group of heroes on a quest to retrieve a magical artifact from a palace called Tevinter. The first season got quite the viewership and ended on a bit of a cliffhanger. Can we expect a brand-new season? Let's explore.
The second season of Dragon Age: Absolution has yet to be renewed by Netflix. Given that the first season ended with a cliffhanger we can assume that Netflix and BioWare are planning on a new season. But Netflix usually only renews shows that have good viewing statistics. As of now all we can do is patiently wait for Netflix to announce the show's renewal.
We currently don't know a single thing about the plot of the second season. We do know, however, that if we do get a second season we'd get a big battle as the dark armies were gathering at the end of the first season with the intent of getting the curriculum. We will also see the continuation of Miriam's adventure.
If Dragon Age: Absolution gets renewed we can expect it sometime in 2024. But for now, all we can do is speculate.
