The production team recently revealed that the final season of Dr Stone: Science Future will air in 2025, following the previous announcement that work had started.
Dr. Stone: New World, the previous season, concluded in December 2023. Senku and his crew started the first steps of their space program in the last episode, which started the final arcs. Fans have questioned if a second two-part season will be enough to wrap up the series, given the length and significant events as detailed in Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki’s Dr. Stone manga.
However, the most recent announcement confirms that Dr. Stone: Science Future will actually consist of three cours. Each cours will probably be divided into several seasons, with each part consisting of roughly 12 episodes, based on previous seasons’ trends.
As of this writing, Dr. Stone: Science Future is scheduled to be released sometime in 2025, although no specific debut date has been established.
