She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is back with another episode on Disney+. This time we see the protagonist, Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) deal with Emil Blonsky’s (Tim Roth) mess, he allegedly broke out of prison and participated in an illegal fighting ring along with Wong (Benedict Wong). We see Walters try her best to paint Blonsky as a reformed and changed man. Along with testimonies, some inadvertent therapy and some portalling, she had managed to make a point in front of the parole board. But since this isn’t just a Lawyer show, some other things went down.

Emil Blonsky and the Seven Soulmates

Unlike the Harry Potter-esque title of this section, nothing involving magic here took place. Or did it? Last we checked, Emil Blonsky was incredibly aggressive as the Abomination in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, however, this episode showed us that Emil has reached Zen level one-ness with his Abomination self. Could this be Wong’s doing? Since he was asked to best a creature as part of becoming Sorcerer Supreme (or so he says), it could be entirely possible that the challenge might have been to cure a creature like the Abomination.

Emil Blonsky feels like a reformed man but there are elements of the story we cannot shake off. Who are the seven soulmates? They look remarkably similar to the nine muses. And while Emil goes free, he isn’t allowed to turn into the Abomination which could lead to some significant tension among our characters later.

The Wong Cinematic Universe (WCU)?

We see Wong making appearances in the most unexpected places. Apart from his very required presence in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, he has managed to be in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. It seems that Wong has been keeping tabs on all the Avengers making sure they aren’t doing something that may destroy the universe.

Even then, Wong is quickly becoming an integral part of the Avengers as the Sorcerer Supreme, he has to keep tabs on dangers and make sure that the Natural Law hasn’t been broken.

Skin samples

When Jennifer Walters drives to come back home after testifying for her ex-colleague Dennis Bukowski (, she is ambushed by a few muggers. Armed with Asgardian construction worker technology, the men propel themselves at her. However, after a second of fear, she turns into the Hulk and manages to drive them away. As we watch the men get back in their vehicles, we see them talking about getting some of her skin samples but are unable to do because her Hulk skin is impenetrable. Additionally, we also see them mention that their boss wouldn’t be happy about this development.

This may hint at some sinister attempts of Titania (Jameela Jamil) to delegitimize Jennifer Walters or use her DNA samples to conduct some research into her powers. Along with this, it is possible that Titania released the video of Emil Blonsky out of prison possibly to make her public reputation tank. But now that she has given a personal interview, it is better to assume that people like her. I mean if it’s good for Megan Thee Stallion, it best be good for other people.
