Popular producer Adi Shankar is in charge of the project. He has a history of successful gaming adaptations, having turned Konami’s Castlevania and Ubisoft’s Blood Dragon into TV shows.

Is Devil May Cry Returning With Season 2?
Netflix has announced on social media that it will bring back Devil May Cry for a second season.
The streamer has not said when the next episodes will be released. For now, we can only hope they will stick to the regular schedule like Adi Shankar’s successful show Castlevania.
If that’s the case, it would mean around 15 months between seasons, suggesting that Devil May Cry season 2 might be released in the summer or autumn of 2026. However, that’s only an estimate for now, so keep that in mind.
Earlier, Shankar said he wanted to create another “multi-season” story with Devil May Cry (via IGN), so fans should be happy that he’s now closer to making that idea a reality.

The voice cast for Devil May Cry will probably return for season 2, with Johnny Yong Bosch continuing as the main character, Dante.
