It's unfortunate that there won't be another season of "Deadman Wonderland" due to Manglobe Inc.'s bankruptcy in 2015. The company had a debt of around 350 million yen, which caused the creators, producers, and directors of the show to become unemployed. However, there is still hope that the anime may get a second adaptation if another production company decides to pick it up, such as Netflix.
The first season of the anime only covered the first fourteen chapters of the original manga series by Kazuma Kondou. This puts Ganta as the only suspect, and therefore, he gets the death penalty and is sent to Deadman Wonderland, the same place where the murder took place. This place becomes the prison where he will have to take part in the deathly games alongside other prisoners. However, his real motto and goal are to find the real bastard who changed his life into a nightmare.
