Dead To Me is returning for a second season. Here's everything we know about it so far.
Netflix Original series Dead To Me was officially renewed for a second season. Netflix didn't waste any time in revealing the news, announcing it less than a month after the launch of the first season. So it is fair to say that the show got quite a big viewership. Let's get into everything we know so far.
The first season of Dead To Me was released at the beginning of May 2019. And given that the show was so quickly renewed we can expect that the show's production began just as quickly. We can expect Dead To Me Season 2 to hit Netflix in Spring/Summer 2020.

Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini are sure to return for the second season but none others have been confirmed. It's likely that James Marsden could return for the second season but it all depends on the direction of the plot and whether flashbacks will be used.
The first season ended with Jen (Applegate) and Judy (Cardellini) standing over the dead body of James Marsden's character, Steve. Jen seemingly pulled the trigger. It seems pretty straightforward but creator Liz Feldman says that the ending “is not exactly what you think”, and that “Netflix will have to order a season two for us all to find out” whether or not Jen killed Steve.
Feldman told The Hollywood Reporter: “There’s an evening of the score and there’s a rebalancing that will take place and almost, in some ways, a role reversal. This show will always be a show that explores the dark sides and the light sides of grief, loss, forgiveness, and friendship. So suffice to say, there will be more darkness.”
