Yay! We have a release date for the biggest survival horror game of this year, read on...
The Dead Space Franchise is back with a remake of their first game. The game was launched at EA Play Live in July 2021 and we now have a lot of information on the game. Here's everything you need to know...
EA has scheduled the Dead Space Remake release date for January 27, 2023. In March, developer Movie Studio announced a small Delay in the launch, shifting the game to 2023 to ensure it had the time to properly construct "upon the expectations of fans." The January 27, 2023, release date was revealed on October 28, 2022, with the first official gameplay trailer.
The remake of Dead Space will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. EA has mentioned that the game will not release on PS4 and Xbox One. The studio is investing heavily in the atmospheric audio of the game and will work to expand the combat mechanic of Dead Space.
It is, of course, survival horror at its peak! If you are not familiar with the OG, we are here to warn you that you are in for a very tense ride. We know that it is not a remaster, so the gameplay of Dead Space will remain similar to its predecessor. The game will, however, be completely remade in the frostbite engine like most of the major EA titles.

While the gameplay might deviate a bit, you can expect the story to remain similar and close to its roots. We will once again meet Isaac Clarke, an engineer from the 23rd century sent to help the stranded spaceship Ishimura. Upon his arrival, it becomes quite clear that things are extremely wrong on the ship. Needless to say that the game becomes extremely dark and spooky real quick. We also have information that the original voice actor of Isaac Clarke from the original game will return for this game as well. Secondary actors will also get some part to play to make the storyline more authentic and humanize the atmosphere to make it way scarier.
Yes, there is! Watch it below...
