The biopic will be produced by Michael Sugar who is the Academy Award winner behind 'Spotlight', and who will produce this movie via his Netflix-based Sugar23. Phillips an.d Bradley Cooper will be producing this story via their banner Joint Effort.

The movie will also be produced by Hemsworth and Eric Bischoff. Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest wrestlers of all time on TV sets in 1980s America as part of the World Wrestling Federation. His bouts and star power has already made its way into movies, televisions, endorsements, and video games.

Terry Gene Bollea, who is known by his famous ring name Hogan, began his career in the late 1970s in the Florida wrestling circuit. When he started off his wrestling career in the WWF, he used to frequently fight against Andre the Giant as a villainous fighter.

He became the face of Vince McMahon's company when he took over the company and expanded it into a national presence. He had the hero plus fearsome persona that made him the king of his time.

Soon he became one of the famous wrestlers of all time by the end of the 80s, where he became of the Me Decade’s key personalities, posing for the cover of big magazines and appearing on talk shows and going on air for a Saturday morning cartoon.

He was everywhere. Unfortunately, his career shook in recent years when his personal conflicts overtook those inside the ring.

Hogan got involved in a sex tape scandal, with friend's wife that led him into a years-long lawsuit that fastened the end of Gawker and left Hogan with tens of millions of dollars in a settlement.

However, the biopic will not talk about Hogan's scandal and instead, according to sources, it will focus on his career's success and is described as an origin story of the Hulkster and Hulkamania.

Reportedly, the biopic project will see Bollea acting as a consultant on the movie as well as the executive producer.  The movie is in its early stages and will be co-produced by Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman, reported Daily Mail.

Fans have already seen Chris in that Hulk mode through his Instagram workout videos, and now that he will be finally entering the wrestling ring as Hogan, fans are losing their patience.

In 2013, Hogan did share his wishes about him wanting Hemsworth to play his role in a biopic. "We need a serious, serious actor that knows what he’s doing,' he said. 'You know who I thought would be good? That guy that did that action movie Thor," he told Toronto's Cape Breton Post.

The world knows no one could play the role of Hogan better than Chris as the 'Thor' star has the right attitude, fierceness and the physique to nail the role of a wrestler. Chris Hemsworth might not be a professional wrestler but he has the body to play one in front of the camera, as his body is another aspect about him which is most talked about.

Therefore, to make it more influential, he recently launched his fitness health app, free of charge for those who want to have a body like him.

It is an app that provides subscribers customized exercise and meal plans that can be accessed online on any phone.

“I believe we all have untapped potential. And we all need support to achieve our goals,” Hemsworth said about the new app in a press release. “Centr puts the world’s best in the palm of your hand, to help you develop a healthier body, stronger mind, and a happier life.”

The app also involves experts, which includes Hemsworth's wife, Elsa Pataky, who will offer key advice and support throughout Centr's development, to ensure that the app is female and mom-friendly. Chris's hard work and determination for his body has helped him get the role for Hogan's biopic and fans can only wait for the development and updates in the movie.
