While his character in 'The Gray Man' is obsessed with finding his target, Chris Evans, in reality, wants to find someone to spend his life with.
Chris Evans is all in to find someone to spend his life with.
In an interview with Shondaland, where Evans along with his other cast members sat down to discuss his latest film, The Gray Man, he was asked if there are any similarities Evans shares with his character Lloyd Hansen, who is obsessed with tracking down Sierra Six.
Evans swiftly replied, “Good question. Thank you for a good question, my goodness.”
Then he went on to give an interesting response. The former Captain America actor said, "The answer would be that maybe [I’m] laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with." He explained that he pours "all of [him]self into” his work which he loves. But given all that he endures by being in show-biz and the industry, he is "trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with."

Evans has never been much open about his romantic life but the actor was last romantically involved with actress and comedian Jenny Slate. It was an on-again and off-again relationship from 2016 to 2018. The former couple met on the set of their drama Gifted in 2016, where at the time that their connection was undeniable.
“Chris feels neutral towards Jenny Slate and holds no bad feelings towards her,” an insider told Us Weekly at the time. “[He] is happy for her.”

This is hardly the first time Evans has expressed a desire to find himself a long-term partner and start a family. The actor told Men’s Journal in a 2019 interview that he hoped to settle down and have kids. “I really want kids. Yeah, I do,” Evans told the magazine. “I like pretty pedestrian, domestic things. I want a wife, I want kids. I like ceremony. I want to carve pumpkins and decorate Christmas trees and s*** like that.”

No one knows who that lucky person would be but it's definitely sure that person would be a dog lover. Anyone who follows Evans on social media knows that his heart belongs to his dog, Dodger. In fact, he even has a tattoo of his dog's name on his chest. "That's probably one of the purest relationships I have," the actor told Jimmy Kimmel in 2020. "It didn't take much convincing. I'll never regret that tattoo. I've regretted a few in my life, but not that one."
The Gray Man is available to watch in theaters on July 15, and available to stream on Netflix on July 22.
