'Chivalry Of A Failed Knight' Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

This is a live-update article and it will be updated as new details about Chivalry Of A Failed Knight Season 2. This is what we know so far.

Chivalry Of A Failed Knight

If there's ever such a thing called a common favorite (in terms of genre) among show watchers, it has got to be Anime. Today, fans find anime series a lot more engrossing than any other type because there is something unique about the storyline, dialogues, visuals, music, and basically everything. 'Chivalry of a Failed Knight' is an anime that has lured fans with its impeccable storyline and theme. The series consists of three major genres at once—action, erotic romance, and fantasy. Those who love anime would know that it is not easy to use these three genres and make a balanced show out of them. However, 'Chivalry of a Failed Knight' does it exceptionally well and also has some hilarious moments to keep fans entertained throughout.

'Chivalry of a Failed Knight,' which is also known as Rakudai Kishi no Kyabaruii in Japanese, is based on a light novel series by Riku Misora and is illustrated by Won. Soon it got adapted into an anime by Silver Link/Nexus and premiered for the first time on October 3, 2015, to December 19, 2015. The fans loved the series, and ever since the first installment ended, they have been hoping for a second renewal. So, here is everything we know about the renewal.

Will There Be 'Chivalry of a Failed Knight' Season 2?

'Chivalry of a Failed Knight' has not yet been renewed for a second season. Whether or not we'll get to see a second season of 'Chivalry of a Failed Knight' really comes down to two big things: how much story material is out there, and if it's going to make enough money.

So, the first season was based on a light novel series by Riku Misora, and as of December 3rd, there were 18 volumes of it. That's a lot of content, right? But even with all that material, nobody has said for sure if we're getting a Season 2.

The big question is, did Season 1 make enough money to justify a new season? It looks like they sold around 2,900 copies of the first season's Blu-ray, which isn't really great. And even though the light novel series sold like 500,000 copies, it doesn't necessarily mean people are rushing to watch the anime. They also don't have a lot of merchandise, which could be a sign they're not doing too well financially.

Right now, it's pretty up in the air if we'll get a Season 2. The studio might be looking at the not-so-great sales and fan interest and thinking twice. But you never know, things could change if there's an official announcement.

Fans are definitely keeping their fingers crossed for more of this anime, but until we hear something official, it's all just guesswork and hope."

What Is 'Chivalry of a Failed Knight' All About?

The famous show is about a fantasy world where humans possess some rare and unusual abilities. But these strange abilities are not possessed by all humans, and those who have it are called 'Blazers,' according to the English Dub. These Blazers have the power to summon weapons called 'Devices,' representing their souls. Since the Blazers are rare species, they are compared on the level of skills in martial arts and magical abilities. Therefore, those who manage to make it to the top are the ones who gain respect and are henceforth called the Knights.

The show's protagonist is called Kurogane Ikki, who comes later in the picture. He is an ordinary high school student, and going with what the title reads, he is a failed Knight with an F-grade for his skills as a Blazer. Not only that, but he is also so bad at what he does that he is given the title of the worst one because of his useless skill-set and unworthy abilities. Things change when he meets a half-naked princess named Stella Vermillion, and their meeting leads to a duel between them. The scenarios took Stella and Vermillion on a path towards the Grand Seven Star Tournament of the Knights. In this tournament, the world's best Knights compete here to beat the best and gain the respect and recognition they deserve. However, for Stella and Ikki, the entire thing feels like a dream, and now Ikki wants to prove to himself that he is a lot more than a worthless Blazer. Therefore, before he starts his learning and improvement journey, he will have to dismiss the negativity and rise above the shadow of other people's wrong perception to get his confidence back. He will have to put faith and trust in himself if he wants to make it to the top.
