A new Netflix show by Harlan Coben is now ready to watch. It’s an Argentinian thriller series named Caught, or Atrapados in Spanish, and it’s the first Latin American version of Coben’s work.
This show appears only a few weeks after the release of Just One Look, another adaptation of a Coben series for television. It’s based on Harlan Coben’s popular 2010 crime thriller novel and features Soledad Villamil as Ema Garay, a journalist known for her work in digital media uncovering and bringing down criminals.
But she quickly discovers her life changed when she meets Leo Mercer, a respected member of the community, who becomes the main suspect in her search for a missing young woman. As Ema investigates the case more, she has to face her own personal challenges. Villamil is joined in the cast by Juan Minujín, Alberto Ammann, Matías Recalt, Fernán Mirás, Mike Amigorena, Carmela Rivero, and many more.
Like Just One Look and other Coben adaptations on Netflix, Caught has six episodes. Its small number of episodes makes it quick and simple to watch, ideal for a binge session. By the end, you might be left wondering if the story will have more episodes. Here’s what we know.
Will Harlan Coben’s Caught Be Back For Season 2?
Caught won’t have a second season because it has been promoted as a limited series. This is also why none of the previous Coben Netflix adaptations have continued to a second season. Each of his series is made to be complete on its own, with the story finished by the end of the first season. This was true for Caught and other adaptations like Missing You, Just One Look, Fool Me Once, The Stranger, and others.
There are no plans to continue Ema’s story, so fans will need to look forward to Coben’s new adaptations on Netflix. Be on the lookout for adaptations of Coben’s books: I Will Find You, Run Away, Myron Bolitar, Win, and Six Years.
