We recently talked about how Ncuti Gatwa is seemingly leaving Sex Education and won't be returning to Moordale. But did you know that he is not the only one leaving the cast? Ncuti Gatwa is all set to play Doctor Who but he is not the only one moving on to bigger things in life. Let's take a look at the number of people who won't be returning...

You saw that one coming didn't you? Simone is now known for her role in Bridgerton as Kate. In march she confirmed to Deadline, "We going to be back! Kate and Anthony [Jonathan Bailey] is just getting started," she said. "In season two there was a lot of push and pull between Kate and Anthony, there were complications with the family, and then they find each other towards the end.

"I think everything is just starting. I'd like to see Kate just let go a bit more and play more in season three and kind of swim in that circle of love together. I think they both deserve it."

Later in April 2022, she confirmed that she won't be returning for Sex Education she said, "I get asked that all the time. No, I'm a Bridgerton girl now."

Patricia Allison known as Ola, Jakob's daughter will also be leaving the show, "I know, I absolutely have loved being on Sex Education so so much, and playing Ola but unfortunately, I won't be joining the team for season four," she said.

"I'm so sorry to have to break that to you guys but, I'm just going to be doing some other little things, some other opportunities have come up. So, I've been doing it for three years and I've, like, genuinely loved it" she confirmed.

Tanya who plays the character of Lily, the eccentric alien-loving girl will also not be returning to Moordale in the coming year. In an interview with Digital Spy, she said,

"I think that for Lily, her storyline was just wrapped up quite nicely at the end of season three. So she's got no loose ends to tie up, she had quite a happy ending,"

Rakhee Thakrar

Emily Sands the teacher we all wish we had...won't be returning and oh! what a bummer that is. In an interview with  Daily Star Sunday, she said: "I'm not part of the new series. I can't really talk about why."

"But I'm so proud of the show and grateful to have been part of something so important. There is nothing bad about Sex Education."

Emma Mackey

If you thought the previous one was hard to digest this might have been a shocker for you. Yes, how can Sex Education proceed without Maeve, well even if we don't know, I guess only time will tell!

In an interview with TotalFilm, she said, "You know, we're playing 17-year-olds, and we're all almost 30, it is a bit weird," she said. "It’s a blessing because it is a launchpad and it is something that has given us opportunities in different ways but it's something that I want to gracefully exit from, and be happy that it exists and protect it and enjoy it in the time that it has existed in but yeah, it needs to be left alone now I think.

While we are extremely saddened by all the departures, we can't wait to see what they will go on to do in the future...
