Last week, 'Captain America' fans received awesome news! A fourth 'Captain America' film is in development, and Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson is confirmed to star in the film after he’s taken on the mantle of the Warrior of Liberty in 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.'

Now, there's another report courtesy of WeGotThisCovered, claiming that Captain America 4 will introduce a female Cap too.

According to the website, Hollywood Tipster Daniel Richtman says that Marvel plans to introduce multiple Caps in Captain America 4 and that there will be four of them in the upcoming movie. The first one could be Sam, and then there is Wyatt Russell’s John Walker. The third one could be Eli Bradley after he was introduced in the Falcon, and the fourth one will reportedly be a female Captain America.

This will not be the first time for MCU fans to get introduced to a female Captain America. There have been several female Caps in the comics and the MCU is about to introduce one more in the 'What If…?' An episode of the animated series imagines Peggy Carter taking Erskine’s serum instead of Steve Rogers.

It's worth noting MCU has not officially confirmed these reports yet, but Daniel Richtman has already earned a reputation for spilling the industry's biggest secrets in the past.

'Captain America' 4 is yet to get a director, but 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' writers Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson are already attached to pen the script.

The film is still in the early stages of development, and there are still no casting details announced so far.

The plot also remains hidden as of this writing, and there is still no confirmation whether Chris Evans would make an appearance in the fourth film.

Evans played Captain America through his alter Steve Rogers in the first three solo films, 'Captain America: The First Avenger' (2011), 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' (2014), and 'Captain America: Civil War (2016).'

He also appeared in Avenger movies and different Marvel films, before retiring in the 'Avengers: Endgame' and passing the shield to  Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson aka Falcon.

In 'Falcon and the Winter Soldier', Wilson opts to relinquish the title of Captain America. So the government handed the role to John Walker (Wyatt Russell), a white military member.

A fourth film is one of the best news to Captain America fans, following the dramatic ending of 'Falcon and the WinteSoldierr' on April 23.
