Naruto Uzumaki's son is back to continue his adventures and here is what anime lovers need to know about it.
Borutu has seen a fair share of ups and downs as the 2015 film and 2017’s anime continuation met criticism from Naruto fans as Boruto’s relationship with his famous father was not properly explored and a part of the otaku community considered Boruto a forgettable protagonist. But Boruto had also continued its successful run so far after garnering appreciation for its animation style and character developments. The fans can finally expect some good news coming their way in this new year as Boruto Code Arc is about to get animated pretty soon and here is all the information that you need to know about the upcoming episodes of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
No official dates have been announced by Studio Pierrot regarding the premiere of the brand new arc but as per the speculations on the internet, it’s highly likely that the upcoming episodes of the anime will arrive in February 2023 and fresh episodes will air every Sunday at 1 am PST, 4 am EST, and 9 am GMT and will be available for viewing on Crunchyroll.
The anime follows the story of Boruto Uzumaki, the teenage son of Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, who feels resentful because his father places the village before his own family. Boruto’s story continues after a retelling of the 2015 movie events as he faces off against a foe named Kawaki as his village gets destroyed. Once the Code Arc gets animated we can expect the story to catch up after the events of the altercation with Isshiki Otsutsuki and Code retrieving two hidden android weapons of Kara which are visible in the latest opening of the anime. It’s a blink-and-miss moment as the rest of the young shinobi teams leap into action but a lot of fans consider this one of the best arcs of the manga so everyone is undoubtedly excited to see what lies ahead.
The voice cast of this arc will include Yuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki, Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki, Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha, and Ryuichi Kijima as Mitsuki. Junta Terashima will serve as the voice of Code.
