The film Beast may be an enthralling watch that pulls you in with each passing minute, but the ending of Beast has left a number of viewers scratching their heads.
In Beast, Elba plays Nate Samuels, a recently widowed doctor who brings his daughters Meredith (Iyana Halley) and Norah (Leah Sava Jeffries) back to South Africa, where Nate first met his wife. While on a tour of a game reserve managed by Martin (Sharlto Copley), an old family friend, this group of four discovers that an entire village has been decimated by a lion. This lion was the sole survivor of a poacher’s attack on his pride, and now this lion is out for revenge.
The majority of Beast is spent with Martin, his family, and their broken-down automobile trapped on the preserve and often assaulted by this enraged lion. However, a group of poachers discovers the abandoned automobile at night. This time, the lion attacks and rips the poachers to pieces. Meredith is hurt as the lion attacks the automobile holding Meredith, Norah, and Martin while Nate is looking through the dead bodies for the poacher’s car keys. While Martin stays behind in the automobile to distract the lion, Nate’s children flee to the poacher’s vehicle. In his dying moments, Martin utilises a gas leak to set their car on fire, severing the lion’s spine as the lion, Martin, and their vehicle crash down a cliff.
Does Nathan Manage To Kill The Lion In Beast?
The girls and Nathan search for a tranquilizer rifle. They locate it, and Nathan attempts to shoot it, but it is moving too quickly. One of the darts is taken by Norah, who uses it to strike the lion behind. The Lion turns away. Mare goes to save Martin without seeking permission, and because there is a pause between the lion receiving the tranquilizer and the tranquilizer vanishing, Martin is saved. To preserve Martin’s life, Nathan does the best surgery he can.
They are found by poachers when darkness falls. When the poachers learn that Martin is in the backseat with Nathan, they prepare to attack, but the lion attacks first. Nathan uses the chance to search for the poachers’ truck’s keys. Norah and Mare are inside the truck when the lion attacks it as he is returning after finding the keys. They plunge off a cliff after the lion flips the truck. Fortunately, Norah and Mare were able to leave quickly. Martin is still in the truck, though.
Martin uses his zippo to light the fuel in the truck, giving himself as a sacrifice to the lion. After starting the poacher’s car, Nathan drives away with his daughter from the scene. Mare, however, has wounds from the earlier assault, and Nathan must tend to them. They halt and search for supplies at a closed school. The lion then materialises and is ready to strike. Because the lion is wounded and exhausted, Nathan prepares to capture it by himself in order to save his girls.
When Nathan and the lion struggle, it appears that nothing will be saved. Despite its injuries, the lion is still more powerful than Nathan. But Nathan has succeeded in driving the lion into the region of the lions Martin and them spotted the day before. Together, the lions assault and kill the wounded animal. When Nathan recovers from his severe injuries, he can finally go to his wife’s favourite jungle location and take a photo of himself and his girls. The family has reunified.
