'Arrow' Season 8: Here's Everything We Know So Far

Fans are not happy to know that the most popular show 'Arrow' is coming to an end. The CW's famous show's ending was announced on Twitter by the man under the hood, Stephen Amell. He confirmed that a shortened eighth season will be the final one. The show has entertained fans for 7 seasons and of course, fans share the oldest connection with the characters and story because of which the disappointment is inevitable. But, there is something good to look forward to and that is the release date of season 8 is finally out, and fans are hoping for it to be the best so far. When Will Season 8 Of Arrow Arrive? 


The eighth season of Arrow will premiere on Tuesday, October at 9:00-10:00 on The CW. According to Stephen Amell, "Playing Oliver Queen has been the greatest professional experience of my life…but you can’t be a vigilante forever. Arrow will return for a final run of 10 episodes this Fall. There’s so much to say… for now I just want to say thank you.”

The first season was premiered in 2012 and ever since then, it is one of the network's best shows with amazing ratings as it managed to spawn something which is called the 'Arrowverse', an inter-connected universe of other DC shows. 

Will Arrow Continue After Season 8? 


Unfortunately, no. Fans will have to bid goodbye to their favorite show after season 8 hits the screen. To finalize the end of the show must have been a hard decision and tricky task to execute, therefore, show's producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Beth Schwartz shared their experience in a statement, where they said, “This was a difficult decision to come to, but like every hard decision we’ve made for the past seven years, it was with the best interests of ‘Arrow’ in mind. We’re heartened by the fact that ‘Arrow’ has birthed an entire universe of shows that will continue on for many years to come. We’re excited about crafting a conclusion that honors the show, its characters and its legacy and are grateful to all the writers, producers, actors, and — more importantly — the incredible crew that has sustained us and the show for over seven years.”

What Is The Reason Behind The Cancellation Of 'Arrow' Franchise?


Even though the reason behind ending the franchise is not officially discussed, it is believed that one of the prime reason behind it could be the viewing figures decreasing with every episode. Who All Will Be There For The Season 8 Of 'The Arrow'?


The series will be having Stephen Amell who will be joined by David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Echo Kellum, Katie Cassidy, Rick Gonzalez, Juliana Harkavy, Colton Haynes, Kirk Acevedo, and Sea Shimooka. On the other hand, Berlanti will be joined by Guggenheim, and Schwartz, Sarah Schechter as executive producers. The production studio behind everything is Bonanza Production Inc. in association with Beralanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
