Whitney Heard was not very happy with MTV for featuring Johnny Depp at the VMAs
Whitney Heard, Amber Heard's sister has come out against MTV for featuring Johnny Depp in the MTV Video Music Awards.
She posted her disgust over Instagram saying:
"MTV You're disgusting and clearly desperate! I really hope that none of the people who made this call have daughters."
She then ended her statement with the Hashtag I Stand With Amber Heard.
Johnny Depp appeared in the VMAs dressed as an astronaut, representing the Moonman trophy.
"I just want you to know that I'm available for birthdays, bat mitzvahs, weddings, wakes, or whatever you need," Depp said during his appearance as the Moonman. "You know what, I needed the job."

Depp got a standing ovation at the VMAs after his portrayal as the Moonman and some people didn't like it, especially the Amber Heard camp. Some internet users also took Depp's appearance at the VMAs quite badly as well, complaining that Depp is the image of male domestic abuse.
Amber Heard recently hired a new legal team after losing the defamation case against Johnny Depp. She has since hired David L. Axelrod and Jay Ward Brown to launch a countersuit against Johnny Depp as well as to appeal the initial verdict.
A couple of months ago, Amber Heard was ordered to pay Depp $10.3 million. This is clearly out of Heard's budget and she will have to find creative ways to pay off her debt or successfully appeal the case.
But, as of now, Depp seems to be getting his career back in order and is expected to star in a few feature films. Whether he is able to renew his contract with Disney as Captain Jack Sparrow is still up for speculation.
