Nurse Erin Falati detailed the injury Heard turned up with which was a bloody lip after a fight with Depp.
Amber Heard had alleged domestic abuse during her marriage with Johnny Depp. She has claimed that there was physical as well as sexual violence. Depp has maintained that these claims are false.
Heard's ex-nurse has now testified in court about the actress's physical injuries after an alleged argument she had with Depp. Nurse Erin Falati detailed the injury Heard turned up with which was a bloody lip. It was the first time the jurors got to hear the testimony of a witness elaborating on the alleged physical abuse. She clarified that while she did not see the altercation, she did note that her lips were actively bleeding.

Falati recalled how Heard's lips were "visibly bright red blood appearing at the center" of her lower lip. This was in the December of 2015 and her notes from the nursing logs were read in court. It included information about a bruise on Heard's head and that she had clumps of hair missing, which allegedly happened during the argument, as per The Daily Beast. She also made a note on Heard's mental health at that point which showed she was experiencing bouts of anxiety, an eating disorder, attention deficit disorder, bipolar disorder, codependence issues, and occasional insomnia.
The nurse also testified in 2016 when she was sent pictures of Heard's bruises. She stated that the 36-year-old had been operated on for a cyst in her eye that had left bruising. This was following a call made to 911 after an altercation at Depp's penthouse. Falati also shared from her notes about Heard's jealousy when her then-husband was shooting for films. She felt insecure and jealous. Falati also noted the time in 2014 when Heard's nudes were leaked online and how she was upset that Depp had not given her enough support.
James: It was usually [Heard] complaining or crying, I would say due to insecurities in the relationship, more than anything else.#JohnnyDepp #AmberHeard @LawCrimeNetwork pic.twitter.com/j0oCbAKKdY

Depp has denied that he was ever physically abusive. Addressing the "bloody lips" he stated: "It was normal she had particularly dry lips. She was constantly using lip balm. She would pick at the dry skin. It would bleed." He also stated that he was being violently attacked by Heard who was punching and hitting him. He tried to take hold of her arm to try and stop hitting him. At this moment, their foreheads clashed and he noted that the incident was "entirely accidental" and "not a headbutt."

Dr. David Kipper, Depp’s private physician and addiction specialist stated in court that he treated Depp for his severed finger but had never treated Heard for any physical injuries. She had, however, approached him only once after claiming to have hit her head. There was no physical injury recorded. The couple's marriage counselor, Laurel Anderson, had also previously testified in the trial that the two participated in "mutual abuse." Heard had told her she escalated fights in order to prevent Depp from leaving.
Dr. Kipper says he does not recall Heard having any visible injuries at this time, including swelling, cuts or bruises. Dr. Kipper also says he would have documented any of Heard's injuries, if they had been noticeable. #JohnnyDepp #AmberHeard @LawCrimeNetwork pic.twitter.com/ywa0PwqtUv
