Amber Heard Gets Increased Screentime In Aquaman 2 In Test Screenings

In recent test screenings of Aquaman 2, Heard apparently had over 20 minutes of screentime.

Those rumors that Amber Heard was going to be cut from Aquaman 2 may be entirely wrong.

It is now claimed that during a test screening of Aquaman 2, Amber Heard's role was actually increased, not decreased or deleted.....INCREASED!

Some users on Twitter are reporting about the test screenings with one user stating confidently that they can confirm that Amber Heard is in the latest test screenings from start to finish with Mera's screentime being around 20 to 25 minutes in length: It s was initially said to be around 10 minutes of screentime but if this Twitter user is correct then screentime for Heard has doubled.

Just got a confirmation that the latest #Aquaman2 test screening that was held today still had Amber Heard from start to finish. Probably WB is testing the waters with the public now that the trial is over. Screentime approximately around 20-25 mins. #AquamanAndTheLostKingdom

But this does not mean that Amber Heard will be in the final film. Test screenings are, as the name implies, test screenings. It was stated during the Amber Heard vs Johnny Depp trial that Amber Heard did test well in the first film. These new test screenings could be Warner Bros. testing the audience reaction to Amber Heard in Aquaman 2.

It is quite obvious that the world may not take Amber Heard's inclusion in the film very well. A petition to have her removed from the film has crossed 4.5 million signatures. That's a lot of signatures and if millions of people decide to boycott the movie due to Heard's involvement then that could spell a lot of financial woes for the film.

We can tell that Warner Bros. is in a bit of a limbo with Amber Heard. We wait for an official announcement about Heard's fate.

"Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" is set to hit theaters on March 17, 2023.
