After almost two years of waiting, Alice in Borderland Season 2 is finally available to watch and fans are already done binging through and through. The dystopian sci-fi series has garnered many positive views and fans can't wait to find out if it's returning for another season. Alice in Borderland season 2 sees Arisu and Usagi partner up to face the Borderland's Face Card citizens. We have scoured the internet looking for any hints they might have dropped about their future plans for the project. Alice in Borderland has not yet been renewed for season 3, but let's consider the fact that it's only just been released. If the second season lives up to Netflix's expectations it will surely see the light of day. The show has seen quite a lot of delays in the past and that's only because of the Pandemic and doesn't necessarily mean that we will have to wait until Christmas 2024.
Well, even though we saw the nightmare end for the key characters we are afraid that they are in for a huge shock coming season. The reveal of the joker card at the very end suggests that they might not be where they think they are. Like in 1899, it could be a simulation or a virtual reality kind of situation. Remember how Arisu was tricked into believing that he was responsible for the death of his friends; the same could be true for the key characters in general.
Niragi played by Dori Sakurada, and Aguni played by Shô Aoyagi, though thoroughly injured, made it out of season two so we can expect to see them in season three.
The same cannot be said for Tatta. Considering he was buried way before the finale, we're pretty sure Yutaro Watanabe's character will not be coming back.
Arisu and Usagi played by Tao Tsuchiya have survived explosions, wounds, and various other life-or-death circumstances just to join us for another season of presumably more. We aren't complaining! Aya Asahina, Nijirô Murakami, and Ayaka Miyoshi's characters Kuina, Chishiya, and Ann are expected to reprise their roles. Newcomer Yuri Tsunematsu made a great addition to the cast as Heiya so we expect to see her return for the next season of Alice in Borderland.
