The 5th season focuses on Haida and Retsuko and they get loads of screen time. We see that Haida is now unemployed and struggling to focus. He is always busy with his online gaming and becomes pretty much addicted to this adventure game that is eating up Retsuko's salary. It looks like their relationship is going into a nosedive. Retsuko is also struggling to balance her work life which comes with a lot of stress and her personal life which is also pretty troublesome at the moment.
