Adam Sandler Breaks Rotten Tomatoes Record With New Netflix Film

Adam Sandler scored a slam dunk with his new film "Hustle".

Adam Sandler's Hustle

2022 seems to be the year of personal bests in Hollywood and beyond. First Kate Bush's song "Running Up That Hill" became number one for the first time. Then Tom Cruise scored the biggest grossing movie in his career with "Top Gun: Maverick". And now, Adam Sandler is following the trend with a brand new Rotten Tomatoes record.

Adam Sandler's newest Netflix film "Hustle" has just become the highest-rated Adam Sandler film on Rotten Tomatoes in history. The film made an audience score of 91% and a Tomatometer score of 92%.

The critics' consensus reads:

Hustle doesn't have any fancy moves, but it doesn't need them -- Adam Sandler's everyman charm makes this easy layup fun to watch.

Following "Hustle" on Adam Sandler's highest-rated films are "Happy Gilmore", "Reign Over Me", and "The Wedding Singer."

The film is getting quite high praise in the Twitterverse, with some people going as far as placing it among the actor's best. One user wrote

I just watched Hustle on Netflix and holy f**k was this movie good. Adam Sandler is continuing to do some really good work and I truly think this might go down as one of the best sports movies ever at one point. If ya love hoops, give it a go!

Another user said:

Hustle is the best movie I’ve ever watched in my life. Adam Sandler really is the goat.

Though "Hustle" is dominating on Rotten Tomatoes in audience ratings, it still falls short of the top spot in the Tomatometer, lagging behind "The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected)" and on even par with "Uncut Gems."

"Hustle" is now available on Netflix. Check out the trailer below.
