It has also been confirmed by Bleeding Cool that if fans are wondering if it is going to be Duke Thomas, then they are wrong, but the report does indicate that Black Lightning and Batwing are going to be very viable contenders for the title.
This latest decision of introducing a Brand new Batman in the DC Comicbook world comes after the heads have embodied the complexity of the superheroes which began after the beginning of a successful franchise similar to Black Panther. Later on, during the series, he takes up the mantle of Robin, along with many other citizens after the disappearance of Batman.
Later on, Duke went on to join the Batman family and took on the name of the Signal. Apart from that, the publication has also noted that even though he has a strong history with Bruce Wayne, he will not appear as Black Batman and will not replace Bruce Wayne. Apart from that, it is informed that David Zavimbe or Luke Fox will not replace Bruce Wayne as the latest Caped Crusader, even though both these characters are of African-American descent and have had the mantle of Batwing for a while.
