The film will be based on the book trilogy by Joe Ballarini which is about Babysitters who protect kids from monsters that live under the bed. The first book is called "A Babysitter's Guide To Monster Hunting", the second installment is called "Beasts & Geeks" and the third one is called "Mission to Monster Island". The author describes the story as:

The Last Kids on Earth meets Goosebumps in this hilarious new series about a secret society of babysitters who protect kids from the monsters that really do live under their beds!

When Is The Release Date Of A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting?

A Babysitter's Guide To Monster Hunting

Netflix has not yet revealed the release date of the film but it is expected to be released in Q2 of 2020 as production has already begun. The first day of filming was reported to be on August 30th, 2019 in Vancouver, Canada and it was completed in November 2019. The film is now in its post-production phase.



 

Who Is In The Cast Of A Babysitter's Guide To Monster Hunting?



 

Tom Felton, who is most known for his role as Draco Malfoy has been officially cast in the film. Some other key members of the cast include Alessio Scalzotto from Rim of the World, Oona Laurence from Lost Girls, Tamara Smart from Artemis Fowl, Indya Moore from Pose and Ian Ho from A Simple Favour.

Some other cast members include Linden Porco, Momona Tamada, Ashton Arbab and Samantha Schimmer.
