Unlike most anime series, ‘Kuroko no Basket’ majorly focuses on making the show fun, exciting, and dramatic, rather than merely focusing on the game’s technicality. After all, a pinch of drama is all we need to stay glued to any TV show. But, that does not mean there is no balance within the show. So, get ready for surprises!

Fans love this show because the storyline does not follow just one subject, but there are two different plot points: one being the use of relationships between the characters who are either playing in the same team or in the opposite team, and the second being the plot focusing on the game itself and the abilities of the players. In short, for those who love watching sports anime and enjoy a bit of drama, this is the best choice, which is why those who have already invested most of their time watching the show are now eagerly hoping for the fourth season to pan out soon. Here is everything we know about the possibility of season 4 of ‘Kuroko no Basket.’

Let’s go back in time. The first season aired on April 8, 2012, and continued till September 22, 2012, with a total of 25 episodes. After the first season hit the sky and was successful, fans were treated to season 2 which came out on October 16, 2013, and continued till March 30, 2014. The second season also had 25 episodes, amassed great success and fan following, leading to the birth of the third installment that premiered on January 11, 2015, and continued till June 30, 2015. Prayers were heard when a sequel movie called ‘Kuroko no Basket Movie 4: The Last Game’ was released on March 18, 2017.

As far as the fourth season is concerned, the chances are bleak for its production. This could also be attributed to the fact that the manga series has been labeled as ‘complete.’ Even the final movie has a very evident and clean ending, leaving fans satisfied and happy. For those who have watched the movie, it would come as no surprise to learn that there seems no scope for any side stories to take the franchise forward, as even the characters who were in their third year have graduated. Fans have also connected with the characters of the show. Therefore, there are fewer chances that fans will get to season 4 of the ‘Kuruko no Basket.’
