‘Dark’ Season 4: Everything We Know So Far

In June 2020, the universe of Dark bid us farewell, the world was sad but content. Needless to say, the show was a massive hit. So, if everything did end for Martha and Jonas and everyone else in between then why are we here talking about the possibility of a season 4? Well, unlike most shows Dark was not canceled by Netflix. Showrunner Baran bo Odar said on Instagram that he envisioned the show as a trilogy from the very beginning. Any fan knows it makes complete sense as the story was written like that, three worlds, three generations, and thirty-three-year cycles. Here are our predictions…

When Will Dark Season 4 Come Out?

If it ever happens, there is a good chance we will not see it until late 2024, or early 2025. However, if they plan to make the show, the gap will not pose much of a threat as Dark’s fan base is quite strong and they know that the show is worth the wait.

What Can Be The Plot of Dark Season 4?

The last scene of Dark references Hannah’s unborn child in the Genesis world, the world where none of the time travel ever happened; Hannah suggests Jonas as a possible name for the baby. Could this baby be the new protagonist of the show? His father is Torben Wöller and not Michael/Mikkel Kahnwald, so he would look considerably different, but then there’s Adam too.

Will There Be a Dark Spin-Off?

Well, to be honest, we think that if we see anything in the universe again, it will most likely be in the form of a spin-off. There is no news of a spin-off yet; however if they ever plan to make one, there is plenty of material for them to work with.

Who Will Return in Dark Season 4?

We have no idea who might return for season 4 if it ever happens. Here’s the main cast of Dark, Louis Hofmann as Jonas Kahnwald and Karoline Eichhorn as Charlotte Doppler, Stephan Kampwirth (Peter Doppler), Maja Schöne, (Hannah Kahnwald), Lisa Vicari (Martha Nielsen), Jördis Triebel (Katharina Nielsen) Andreas Pietschmann (The Stranger), Paul Lux (Bartosz Tiedemann), Oliver Masucci (Ulrich Nielsen), Moritz Jahn as Magnus Nielsen.
