Hundred, an anime that is known as Handoreddo in Japanese is based on a famous novel of the same name that was published back in 2012. It was written by Jun Misaki and illustrated by Nekosuke Ōkuma. The anime follows the story of Hayato Kisaragi, a teenager who has the highest compatibility level with the technology known as Hundred and, as a result, is invited to master his skills and train at a very prestigious military school aboard a battleship. At the moment, there is no news on whether the show will be renewed. The initial season, which aired in April 2016, comprised of 12 episodes, and fans are eagerly anticipating a potential follow-up. Although the show has not been canceled yet, there is a possibility that a second season may not materialize. However, we remain optimistic and hope that the showrunner can defy our expectations.

Hundred is the only weapon that can counter the mysterious Savage life form attacking Earth. However he feels a strange yet familiar sense of incongruity towards Emil Crossford, his roommate who somehow knows him from somewhere. On top of that, as soon as he enters the school, he is challenged to a duel by the “Queen” and the school’s most powerful Slayer, Claire Harvey.
