Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

Wistoria: Wand and Sword season 1 is now wrapped up, but can we expect a Season 2? Summer 2024 saw the debut of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, a new TV anime. The series stood out early on because Fujino Omori, the writer of the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? series, wrote the original light novels, and the promotional materials hyped up some big action in the magic-fueled, fantasy action series.

Is Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Happening?

Wistoria: Wand and Sword closed with its 12th episode as the Summer 2024 anime season ended and the Fall 2024 season began . Thankfully, the season finale indicated that the anime would return for Season 2. Wistoria: Wand and Sword has released a teaser for the second season of the anime, which is currently in development.

Wistoria Season 1 Finale: What Happens?

This special teaser aired after the credits of Wistoria: Wand and Sword‘s season finale, and the special visual for the announcement not only teases some of the big threats only briefly seen in this first go around, but also teases more of a huge new addition, Finn. The season’s final episode introduced a new character who immediately liked Will. Finn introduced himself to Will as “Finn,” although he’s an explorer who helps magicians navigate the dungeon.

Finn is interested in Will’s swordsmanship and has control over a swordsman, making things even more suspicious. It adds to the separation between magic users and non-users in this magical world, and Will’s function is even more intriguing because he can absorb magic with a sword and use it to gain power. Season 2 may take things to new heights.

What Is Wistoria: Wand And Sword About?

Wistoria: Wand and Sword, directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara for Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures, is based on Fujino Omori and Toshi Aoi’s Kodansha light novels. Yuki Hayashi wrote the soundtrack, Raita Sunaga, Yoshirou Harada, and Ryou Akizuki designed the monsters, and Sakaya Ono designed the characters. As we wait for fresh episodes, Crunchyroll is streaming the whole first season of the TV anime, which debuted this summer.

The story follows Will Serfort, a boy without magic in a world where it counts most. He’s aiming to reach the top of the mage world despite his inability to fulfill a promise he made to his genius childhood friend who’s already successful. Will faces demons and other magicians who despise him in the series, and now more fans will understand why it’s so popular as Season 2 approaches.
