Netflix dropped the big news about Season 2 on December 19, 2023. Melanie Halsall, the series creator and executive producer, expressed her excitement and gratitude for the overwhelming response from the audience.
“I am beyond thrilled that My Life With the Walter Boys has been renewed for a second season,” Melanie Halsall, the series creator, showrunner, and executive producer, told Tudum. “We have been overwhelmed by the love and support that the audience has given the show and can’t wait to dive back into the world of Silver Falls and the lives of these characters.”

Has Filming For “My Life With The Walter Boys” Started Filming?
Yes, of course! On August 14, 2024, Netflix made it public that work had begun on season 2 of My Life With the Walter Boys. That’s right, Tudum teased that season 2 would be shot in Calgary, Canada. The first season of the show was shot at a ranch in Calgary in the spring and summer of 2022.
If you remember from season 1, Jason Priestley directed two episodes. He has now joined season 2 as a producer and will also direct “multiple episodes.”
