He is the revered James Bond of modern times and the 54-year-old actor is now stepping into more detective work in the new Rian Johnson film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery as Benoit Blanc. Craig isn’t just good at ordering his martini, but he can cook up delicious stuff in his kitchen as well. Before he became an actor, he spent a phase of his life as a chef. According to Hello Magazine, he said that he loves to cook and can definitely cook for a large number of guests at a time. The actor says he became better at cooking thanks to his mother’s advice.
It would have been a shame if one of the most dashing men in Hollywood didn’t know how to kiss, but fortunately, he does and his co-star in Lara Croft: Tom Raider, Angelina Jolie, confirms it. She called Craig “one of the best kissers” in the film industry, and Craig was “honored” by the flattery.
No wonder Daniel Craig was nervous about taking up the most coveted role in cinema, and he hesitated to say yes when he beat out Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill for the role in Casino Royale. “I didn’t want to do it,” he had said to the production, as per Metro. Though Craig wasn’t well received by the audience initially for his physical attributes, which didn’t quite match Bond’s, he went on to star in five consecutive Bond films in his career.
He wanted to become a father who could devote his time and energy to raising his newborn daughter at the age of 50 and didn’t want to leave his young one with nannies. He was also spotted wearing a papoose carrier on the street by the paparazzi.
Craig might be married to actress Rachel Weisz since 2011, but he prefers to stay low-key. They had a quaint little wedding without much extravaganza, and the couple is known in Hollywood as one of the most private couples, as the media hardly knows any juicy detail about their personal life.
A man who prefers to lead a private life won’t throw a grand wedding party for sure. So Craig and his second wife had the most intimate ceremony you can think of. He only had four guests on his wedding day with Rachel Weisz, two of which were his own children, Ella from his previous marriage, and his 4-year-old son Henry whom he had with Weisz.
If Daniel Craig is known for something other than his work in films, it's probably for his charities. He has donated massive sums of money to support various charities, big and small. At one point, he was also reported to donate $10,000 to those who went out on a 300-mile walk to raise funds for a charity.
While filming an intense fight sequence in Casino Royale, Craig accidentally knocked out two of his front teeth and had to immediately fly from London to Prague in order to see his dentist, and thankfully, they restored his teeth.

In Craig’s case, he decided to quit smoking before the filming of Casino Royale commenced and gained 20 pounds of muscle in order to play 007.
