15 Best Netfix Shows That Are Yet To Come in 2022

The list of all the upcoming shows on Netflix for the rest of the year has us really excited.

With just a couple of months remaining for the year 2022 to end, you might think that we are only looking at a few more TV shows that may be coming our way before the  New Year. However, I would like to break it to you, there are still a handful of shows coming in the last few months of the year. Here's a list curated to help you keep an eye out for all the amazing stuff airing very soon. 

1. Warrior Nun Season 2



 


This show first aired on Netflix back in 2020 and was a great hit for the streamer. It didn't take long for this fantasy series to create a fan case of its own and as a result of this, it was renewed for a second season. This follows the story of Ava Silva played by Alba Baptista, a teenager who at the initial stages of the series wakes up in a morgue and realizes she has superpowers now. In the Trailer for the Warrior Nun season 2, it's noted that the new season will drop this November 10

2. Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities



 


Cabinet of Curiosities
is a horror show based on a short story of the same name from which many different famous directors helmed episodes. This time around, award-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro is making a new anthology series. Not much was known about the plot of the Cabinet of Curiosities, but that changed after they dropped a full-length trailer with which comes a synopsis of sorts! a recognizable list of stars has joined the cast, including Eric Andre, Andrew Lincoln, Ben Barnes, F. Murray Abraham, Sofia Boutella, Rupert Grint, and more. The trailer also has a distress warning, at your own risk, folks! 

3. Wednesday 



 

We will be witnessing the return of one of the most classic spooky characters of all time, this year. Jenna Ortega Starring show is all set to release on November 23. Some notable cast members include Game of Thrones and Sandman actresses Gwendoline Christie and Luis Guzman and Fred Armisen

4. Blockbuster 



 

Netflix is now releasing a scripted show about video stores, yes you heard me right! The upcoming comedy stars comedian Randall Park and Melissa Fumero. Here is the official logline for the show, "An ensemble comedy that takes place in the last Blockbuster Video in America, that explores what it takes – and more specifically who it takes – for a small business to succeed against all odds." The show is available right now, only on Netflix. 

5. Firefly Lane Season 2



 

 Firefly Lane premiered on Netflix back in February 2021 and it had amassed a lot of views and hence was renewed for season 2. The series follows the lives of two best friends, Tully Hart and Kate Mularkey. Season 2 will be split into two parts and the first batch of episodes are al;l set to release on December 2

6. Dead To Me Season 3



 

Well, we will be bidding goodbye to the Emmy-nominated dark comedy Dead To Me with its third and final season. The Dead To Me season 3 was delayed because of Christina Applegate's health issues and of course the Pandemic. The streamer has confirmed that season 3 will debut on November 17

7.  The Crown Season 5



 

At the global fan event TUDUM, Netflix confirmed the release month and year for The Crown season 5. As anticipated it's all set to come to Netflix in November 2022. In the course of its run, The Crown has become one of the most viewed shows on Netflix of all time! The release date noted in the official trailer is November 9

8. Ginny and Georgia Season 2



 

The show premiered in February 2021 and instantly became a huge hit on its arrival. Ginny and Georgia follow the story of a mother-daughter duo who are simply unbeatable. We don't have a trailer or a release date yet, but hoping to see it by the final months of this year

9. Manifest Season 4



 

It's a pleasure to see Manifest officially on this list of Netflix Upcoming! Netflix had bought the rights to the show and now, Manifest is a Netflix original series. If you gaven't seen Manifest I would urge you to do so! It's now available to stream only on Netflix.

10. Alice In Borderland Season 2



 

Alice in Borderland was rumoured to hit Netflix at the end of 2021, however that didn't happen. The first season premiered on Netflix in December 2020 and the next season is also set to release in the same month which is December 2022

11. The Witcher: Blood Origin



 

The Witcher: Blood origin is coming to Netflix soon! We now know that we won't be getting to witness the Witcher season 2 and to make up for the delay we have something to fill the gap. The series is a prequel in all its glory and will be set in a time way before Geralt's adventures. We don't have a release date as of now, but the trailer confirms that it's all set to release in 2022

12. 1899 



 

If you ask me about the one show I am most excited about, it's this! Dark was one of the best Netflix shows that were witnessed by the audience that year, from the creators of that show comes 1899 which fall under the same genre; mystery-horror. 1899 is a german production much like its sister production Dark. It's coming on Netflix on November 17

13. Elite Season 6



 

The teaser for Elite Season 6 and its synopsis have been shared and they reveal what exactly happened to Samuel. If you are a fan you know how much that means to the audience. Keep an eye out for the show on November 18

14. Emily In Paris Season 3



 

We were hoping that this production will not make us wait until 2023 and hope is all we need they say! Lily Collins will return this December to play the one and only Emily Cooper in the much-awaited third season of the Darren Star series. The next installment is expected to drop on December 21

15. Unsolved Mysteries Season 3



 

Addicted to true crime just as we are? We got you, Netflix has just announced the third installment of their Unsolved Mysteries that debuts very soon. This is the one you don't want to miss! It's available on Netflix for you to watch!
