Why Was Young Sheldon Season 7 Delayed?

Fans had initially anticipated a Fall 2023 premiere for the final season. However, unforeseen obstacles hit production when both the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) went on strike. The strikes put a temporary halt to the creation of the last batch of Young Sheldon episodes.

Thankfully, the storm has passed. The strikes are officially resolved, and the cast and crew, led by the talented Iain Armitage, returned to the set. With production back on track, viewers can rest assured that Young Sheldon Season 7 will deliver a fitting conclusion to the beloved series.
