Richest Actor In The World Is Worth $3 Billion But Most People Have Never Heard Of Her

Money and celebrity are two things that we associate with each other, and it may even bring to mind some well-known individuals.

But there is one person who is much wealthier than Tom Cruise and Julia Roberts, and you've probably never heard of her.

This is because the world's wealthiest actor has been idle in the industry for many years, with only a few appearances since her retirement.

If you don't know who we're talking about, it's The Lost Boys star Jami Gertz, who has a whopping $3 billion in net worth in 2023.

You might ask yourself ‘who is she?’, but she’s been right under your nose for years.

One person online had to search her up as they couldn’t place her name or face: “I’m off to Google first cos this is giving I don’t know who this person is.”

Another wanted to know where she’s been since leaving Hollywood: “How come I hardly see Jami Gertz in movies? Did she make it from acting, or does she have other incomes?”

Despite her credits in films such as Twister, Seinfeld, Modern Family, and This Is Us, Gertz wanted to broaden her horizons after entering the spotlight in 1981.

She did make a brief appearance in 2022's I Want You Back, but she's been largely absent from the public spotlight for years. Obviously, she is accumulating vast riches.

This is because she and her husband own a portion of the Atlanta Hawks and a minority stake in the Milwaukee Beavers.

However, the detractors concluded that Gertz married into money after marrying millionaire investor Tony Ressler.

However, the couple is not only interested in making money. They're genuinely very charitable.

The Giving Back Fund designated Gertz and her husband the number one charity donors in 2012 after they made a record $10 million donation to the Ressler-Gertz Foundation, which supports the arts, education, health, and Jewish groups.

So, while the couple has built a substantial fortune to fall back on and enjoy life to the fullest, they have also earned it by contributing so much money to worthy organizations in the past and now.
