Fans just cannot stop talking about the fantasy anime 'Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor' that aired in April 2017, because of which it became one of the hits in its genre. When Liden Films, Inc. launched the first season, its school setting and fantasy content included plenty of adorable anime girls, with one main lead becoming everyone's favorite. The profound representation of knowledge about magic impressed fans enough to want for another season, and here is what we know about Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records Season 2.
To continue making the sequels, one of the most important things to pay attention to is the fact that there is enough source material for another television adaptation of the anime series. Considering the Akashic Records case, it is most likely that this show might get another series, and the story continues as the story has its roots in an eponymous series of light novels. Also, there is a manga adaptation.
The light novel series consists of 24 volumes, and the television adaptation managed to cover just five of them. This certainly means that there is enough content and material for at least two more seasons. The good news here is that Hitsuji, the author, manages to issue two to three volumes a year. The last novel that was published was on June 18, 2021. Therefore, we still have time and, hopefully, material in our hands to see more of the series.

On IMDb, the fantasy series has a rating of 7.0/10. Not just that, the show also got five stars from the viewers of FUNimation.
The first season aired on April 4, 2017, and consisted of a total of 12 episodes. The show ended on June 20, 2017. As we mentioned earlier about the possibility of the show getting a sequel, the chances look high. Even though there isn't any official announcement made by the creators and the studios, the best guess we can go with is that season 2 of 'Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor' might be released sometime in 2024.

The story revolves around the Alzano Imperial Magic Academy, a school where students have perfect capabilities and skills. It is a story about Sistine Fibel, who is a well-known magician and who gets admission to the Academy together with her friend Rumia Tingel hoping to improve and polish their magical experience. However, there is an unexpected change in the storyline when their favorite magic teacher bizarrely retires and disappears, and an enigmatic new professor named Glenn Radars comes in his place. The new teacher does not seem interested in teaching magic at all, and that is when clashes start to happen between Glenn and his class. However, soon Sistine, Rumia, and Glenn discover that they are involved in a scheme by dark forces hidden behind the walls of the Academy. Therefore, the story goes on to show the adventures and experiences the three characters go through, where Sistine is captivated by the mysterious floating sky castle. At the same time, Rumia is haunted by the dark memories of her past, whereas Glenn has a character that leaves fans with a lot of wondering. The three characters are on completely different surfaces without knowing their fate and how the force is binding their fate to each other.
